The U.S.D.A. study of 8,500 women reveals children born to obese women are more than twice as likely to be overweight by age 4. The next generation is gaining fast, so experts say we all need to take steps to stop obesity right now.

Weight loss experts say small lifestyle changes are all it takes to stop obesity. Just by adding 200 steps or 15 minutes of daily walking could help you shed pounds.

Nutrition expert James Hill says eliminating a hundred calories a day or burning a hundred more can prevent weight gain. Replacing a soft drink with a diet drink or water saves a hundred and fifty and leaving four bites of a cheeseburger leaves a hundred calories.

And many experts blame video games for making kids computer crazed couch potatoes. But the latest electronic innovation puts the focus on feet.

Seventeen-year-old John Polchowski lost 70 pounds pouncing on a programmable piece of plastic. It's part of a video game called Dance Dance Revolution.

Active interactive video games along with cutting a few calories from his daily diet helped turn John from video vegetable to cyber slim.
